Micro Metalsmiths range of low pass waffle iron filters are available for all point to point and point to multipoint applications from 10 to 40 GHz. The diplexers are manufactured using either precision machining or Micro Metalsmiths' MM precision casting process.
- 10 to 40 GHz range in waveguide sizes WR75 to WR28.
- For lower volume requirements the filters are manufactured using precision machining.
- For higher volume requirements Micro Metalsmiths precision casting process is used.
- Cast low pass waffle filters are light weight - less than a third of the precision machined version.
Micro Metalsmiths can develop a filter as a precision-machined item, and convert it to a cast design at a later date thus reducing cost.
